The alarm clock rings. I press on the snooze function and this process repeats itself until I get up, feeling agonised and rushed. Then I quickly get under the shower, get dressed, and go. On the way, I might grab a quick sandwich, don’t have much more time.
Do you sometimes feel like that? Unfortunately, this is much too often the morning routine, and the hecticness you take with you frequently continues throughout the whole day.
But it can go quite differently as well, for example: get up early enough, drink a large glass of water, do some stretching and power exercises, then a quarter of an hour of yoga or meditation, take a shower, have a tea or coffee and a healthy breakfast, read, then visualise the goals for the day and for the long term. And then head to the office with a time buffer. As the day begins, it usually goes on in a similar manner. With a good morning ritual, we can lay the foundation for a good day instead of hoping that we will be fortuitously relaxed, satisfied, and focused. How would you feel if your day were always beginning with a good routine, what could you accomplish on such a day?
Begin with it during your vacation. At the Saalbacher Hof you can start the morning each day with an active awakening, then a fresh green smoothie with wild herbs from the garden, and off you go.
